About Our Family

We are Brendan and Tanya Zehr, the owners of Crosshill Doodles.

Our small family, along with our four-legged friends, live on a spacious farm property just outside the small town of Crosshill, Ontario. (Which is located a 1 and a 1/4 hours' drive west of Toronto Pearson Airport.) We have a beautiful country property, including lots of trees, a vegetable garden, and a large lawn, the perfect place for our dogs and puppies to run and play.

We enjoy doing many activities together as a family. Some of these activities include going on walks, having a picnic in a local park, taking our ATV on bush trails and making meals over a camp fire on a nice warm summer's evening.

About Crosshill Doodles

Crosshill Doodles is a small licensed kennel that raises quality, healthy puppies for you and your family to enjoy. Growing up, both of our families always had a dog, as well as other pets. We enjoy interacting with our dogs which sometimes includes playing fetch with a ball, or they might bring a stick to us and wait expectantly hoping that we will throw it for them. Swimming on summer evenings in an exciting adventure for our dogs, and one they thoroughly enjoy.

About Our Faith

We are Bible believing Christians, sinners saved by the blood of Jesus. He would love to save you too! He is waiting for you to come to Him. He longs to be your Father, and to bring peace to your heart.

We were all born cut-off from God because of sin. Isaiah 59:2-”But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that He will not hear.”

But God has made a way for us to come home through His Son. Jesus bore upon Himself the weight of our sin, nailing it to the cross so that we could be born into His family. Romans 5:8-10 - “ But God commendeth his love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.”

Jesus is the way to the Father. His resurrection from the dead signaled victory for us! In John 14:6, Jesus says, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man cometh to the Father, but by me.”

Pray, tell God (and mean it with your whole heart) that you realize you are a sinner and that you trust his Son to save you from your sins. Turn away from your sins and accept the forgiveness, that is made possible by Jesus death on the cross. John 3:16 - “For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Romans 6:23 - “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

We encourage you to read your Bible every day, so you can become familiar with God and learn what He wants you to know. Through Bible reading and prayer, God will speak to you. He will encourage you, as well as convict you (through the Holy Spirit) of areas in your life that he wants you to change.
